{ Carrie-Anne Rath }
 |
|
Carrie-Anne is Suzanne's older sister. The film
is based on Carrie-Anne's video diary, what we
call the 'Week In The Life' diary.
Carrie-Anne manages a video equipment store that
rents and sells prosumer and professional video
gear. When Carrie-Anne was seven or eight, she
got a hold of her Dad's still photo camera and
took a role of photos. Her father was pissed; it
was a typical Carrie-Anne thing to do.
When Mr. Rath got the film processed it turned
out the photos were pretty good. She had what her
father called 'an eye.' Carrie-Anne laughed and
pointed out that she had two eyes, which cracked
her father up. Even as a kid, Carrie-Anne was
absolutely *literal*! If she couldn't smell it,
taste it, hear it or punch it in the shoulder and
send it flying, she didn't 'buy' it.
From photography, she wound up shooting and
selling video gear. She was a whiz when it came
to technical and mechanical things, so Suzanne
isn't surprised when she finds out she's rigged
her house with several video cameras to shoot her
video diary. She also has a number of cool ways
to turn them on, such as photo sensors (that
turned on a camera when you walk past) and
Clapper™ that turn the
cameras on when she claps her hands.

{ Suzanne Rath }
 |
|
Suzanne is Carrie-Anne's younger sister by
several years. Her parents got married when they were 21 because
her mother was pregnant with Carrie-Anne. Mrs.
Rath was what she called a 'recovering Catholic,'
but Mr. Rath was pretty serious about his
religious beliefs. Mrs. Rath was a bit of a 'bad
girl' in her day, but her father was a bit of a
straight-arrow type.
Suzanne and Carrie-Anne's father is a fan of the
British rock group the Hollies; he talked his
wife into naming their two girls after a couple
of Hollies' songs (see the 'Fun Stuff' file for
more information on the Hollies).
Mrs. Rath describes Suzanne as a 'good baby,'
which means she (Suzanne) didn't fuss, cry a
lot., or otherwise cause her many problems.
Carrie-Anne, on the other hand, was a handful the
moment she popped out of the womb, according to
Mrs. Rath. Suzanne pretty much minded her own business for most of her childhood, she did well in school. The only problem was when
Carrie-Anne would con her into going along with
her on some adventure that usually turned out to
be a MISadventure.

{ Morgan Bane }
|
What the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator calls an
ISTJ (an introverted, sensing, thinking, judger).
He is a sharp dresser, a distinguished,
intelligent person with one serious flaw: He
stalks and kills woman.
After he kills his victim, Bane cuts a piece of
flesh from their thigh or arm and places it in
their mouth. This is his way of atoning for the
death he'd caused. His belief is based on a
ritual practiced by an ancient tribe in northern
Japan.
